HUP advises SMEs on the digital future
In the course of authorized support for SMEs and craft enterprises in the modules “Digital Market Development” and “Digitized Business Processes”, HUP is authorized to submit funding applications and provide eligible consulting services.
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) supports SMEs and craft enterprises in the context of increasing digitalization. Companies approved for funding are accompanied in their digital transformation and can take advantage of defined services that the BMWi supports at set funding rates and within defined timeframes – from the search for individual solutions for online commerce and the digitization of everyday business to the growing need for security in digital networking.
The official brochure for download:
SMEs and craft enterprises that employ fewer than 100 employees (based on full-time equivalents), have annual sales or an annual balance sheet total of no more than 20 million euros in the year before the contract is signed, are eligible for funding under the de minimis regulation, and have their headquarters or branch office in Germany are eligible.
HUP has demonstrated the prerequisites necessary for go digital, such as technical expertise, economic stability, competition-neutral consulting and fulfillment or guarantee of quality standards in the modules “Digital Market Development” and “Digitized Business Processes” – see also go-digital consultant map of the BMWi. In addition to providing technical support, HUP also handles the application for funding, accounting and reporting.
This is how project funding in the support program works
HUP, as an authorized consulting company in the go-digital funding program, and an interested company agree on a potential funding project. If they agree to apply for project funding, a consulting contract provided as a form is filled out with the jointly defined consulting and implementation services (project plan), the number of consulting days, the fee and the personal contribution. The HUP submits the funding application, which only becomes effective upon receipt of the funding decision.
The project duration is a maximum of six months, after which the HUP issues an invoice for the personal contribution as well as a proof of use.
Once the proof of use has been checked, the grant is paid to the consulting company and the SME receiving the funding is issued with a corresponding de minimis certificate.
